PREGNANCY TESTING: We offer free, confidential pregnancy testing administered by licensed staff RNs, and can usually accommodate same-day appointments. |
PREGNANCY OPTIONS COUNSELING: We are staffed with supportive volunteers and licensed RNs who are here to listen to you and understand your unique situation. We have information available for many different circumstances, including single parenting, adoption, and abortion. No matter your decision, we are here for you. |
HEALTH ASSISTANCE REFERRALS: We can provide a Proof of Positive Pregnancy Test letter, necessary for Pregnancy Medicaid applications. We can also refer you to different agencies, programs and health care organizations based on your needs. |
EARN WHILE YOU LEARN: This is an educational program for pregnant women, fathers, and new parents. It is especially beneficial for first-time parents, but if you already have children and need a “refresher,” we can help with that, too. For each lesson completed, you will receive “Mommy Money” or “Daddy Dollars” that you can use to purchase a crib, car seat, and other new baby supplies. Call or come in to schedule classes. |
MOM TO MOM: Mom to Mom is a breastfeeding class and support group hosted by lactation consultant, Rebecca Moller. It is for breastfeeding moms, mothers who are considering breastfeeding, or any mother who has questions about breastfeeding. Pregnant women and mothers with children are all welcome. Feel free to bring your baby. |
BABY BUCKS: Families can earn “Baby Bucks” by attending doctor appointments and participating in health and wellness in the community through various organizations. The can use those Baby Bucks to buy new supplies for their children at the Pregnancy Care Center. This program was inspired by the B.A.B.E. Store, which dissolved in 2012 at which time we started the new “Baby Bucks” program. We also honor B.A.B.E. vouchers in the program. |
MATERNITY AND BABY CLOTHING: We have gently used maternity clothing and baby clothing size preemie to 2T available free of charge. In our “free room” we often have bibs, bottles, hats, shoes, baby food, baby cereal, and other supplies for mother and child as well. |
NEW MOM INITIATIVE: We visit Daviess Community Hospital to drop off Pregnancy Care Center bags filled with gifts for new moms and babies. |
